Brava builds recruiting profiles for youth athletes. That means we work with families and minors, so we hold ourselves to a simple standard: your family's data never leaves our infrastructure. No ad pixels, no third-party analytics, no data brokers, no exceptions. This page says exactly what we collect, why, and for how long — in plain language.
What we collect when you browse
Our pages load zero third-party scripts — even our fonts are served from our own domain. We measure site usage ourselves, minimally:
- No cookies and no browser storage are used for measurement.
- We count visits with a one-day code derived from your network address that is deleted-by-design every night — after midnight Pacific, yesterday's codes cannot be reconstructed by anyone, including us. We cannot follow an anonymous visitor from one day to the next, on purpose.
- Your network address itself is never stored and never logged. We keep only your state/region and country, your device type (phone/desktop), the page you viewed, and which site referred you.
- We record a small set of named actions (page view, button click, form started, form abandoned, signup completed). If you abandon the signup form, we record only the name of the last field you touched — never anything you typed.
- We do not use session replay, heatmaps, mouse tracking, or keystroke capture. Anywhere.
What we collect when you sign up
The information a parent submits to build a profile: athlete name, position, club, graduation year, stats, photos and film, and the parent's contact details. We use it to build and operate the profile you asked for, and for nothing else. We never sell or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Athletes are minors — what we don't do
- We do not attach behavioral tracking to any athlete's account or profile.
- Visits to athlete profile pages are counted without recording which athlete was viewed in our measurement system.
- A parent provides and controls the profile's information and can ask us to remove it at any time.
The cookies we do use
Two narrow, first-party uses — neither is analytics:
- Signing in. A session cookie keeps your family's hub signed in.
- Coach links. If your family creates a tracked share link for a specific coach, a first-party cookie lets us show you that this coach (and only that link) viewed the profile. You create these links; we never set them for anonymous visitors.
Retention
- Raw measurement events are deleted after 12 months by an automatic job.
- Daily aggregate counts (no personal data) are kept indefinitely.
- Profiles expire 365 days after going live unless renewed; see your status page for specifics.
Who processes data on our behalf
We run on Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), Supabase (database), and Resend (transactional email). They process data only to provide those services to us. We send our measurement summaries — aggregate counts only, never anything about an individual — to Anthropic's Claude API to generate an internal daily report.
